The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that they won't be investigating the incident. Although the RSPCA does have the power to prosecute if it sees fit. Donald Trump appearing in an ad for David Perdue's Georgia gubernatorial bid. Donald Trump has cut his first ad for Georgia GOP gubernatorial candidate David Perdue, and it's everything Democrats could hope for: a rehash of Trump's 2020 grievances squarely targeted at incumbent Republican governor Brian Kemp all while exhibiting impeccably bad taste. Dim the lights, cue the baritone-voiced circus ringleader announcing, "A message from President Trump." Man, what an opening! Trump then takes the baton, saying that Democrats "walked all over" Kemp and charging, "Brian Kemp let us down." Perdue, the state's former U.S. Senator—who serially abused his insider post to line his own pockets—is then billed onscreen as "An America First Conservative Outsider." Trump adds that Perdue has his "complete and total endorsement." The entire ad is classic Trump—as in, classically awful. But in all seriousness, Trump immediately ripping into Kemp because he "let us down" is exactly the pitched intra-party battle Democrats want to see on the right in the Peach State. We want that primary to be as divisive and bloody as possible so that it will hopefully split...

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal’s relationship may have been brief, but its impact certainly hasn’t been. The twosome were originally seen spending time together in October 2010 and dated for three months before going their separate ways. Two years later, Swift made headlines with her album Red, which included smash hits “All Too Well” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Swifties were quick to to dig for clues within the lyrics, which not-so-subtly hinted at Swift and Gyllenhaal’s whirlwind relationship. While Swift didn’t specify which of her famous exes the tracks were about, she revealed that the subject of her songs instantly connected the dots. “He was like, ‘I just listened to the album, and...

(CNN)It's nearly October 31, so we're at peak horror movie season. "Halloween Kills" is murdering the box office competition, while streaming platforms resurrect retro properties like "Chucky" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer." Sure, slasher movies are the traditional Halloween thing, but there's only one title I reliably watch this time of year, and it doesn't involve Michael Myers. Sara Stewart 2001's "Donnie Darko" starred a then-unknown Jake Gyllenhaal as a troubled teenager who experiences visions of a figure in a sinister bunny suit and suspects he's part of a rip in the fabric of time, set off by a jet engine crashing into his house.Gyllenhaal's character, who may or may not be experiencing the symptoms of a breakdown, starts to follow orders given to him by the rabbit, including flooding his high school and burning down the house of a sleazy local celebrity (Patrick Swayze). Meanwhile, he falls for a girl in his class (Jena Malone), gets some very weird hypnosis from his therapist (Katharine Ross), and crosses paths with a wild-haired centenarian named Roberta Sparrow who...
MUM-OF-TWO Lana Michaels missed breastfeeding so much she started letting her fiancé suck milk from her 34D breasts – and she claims they’ve never felt closer.  The former teacher, who has an eleven-year-old son and seven-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, says breastfeeding her fiancé Shawn twice a week is highly erotic.  8Lana Michaels breastfeeds her fiancé Shawn at least twice a week 8The couple insists there is 'nothing weird' about their sexual kinkCredit: Instagram/lana_ondemand The couple – who appear in a revealing new Channel 4 documentary on Monday night exploring adult breastfeeding – say it is the perfect form of seduction before they have sex, explaining it creates positive "physical energy" between them in the build up to a romp.  And 18 months on after first experimenting with adult breastfeeding, Lana - who met Shawn in 2019 via a Vegan dating app - reveals she is so hooked on it she can’t see them ever giving it up.  “I breastfed my children and I really missed breastfeeding and the feeling of it,” she explained in an exclusive interview with...
A New York City activist has become an internet star by riffling through chain stores' trash to shame them for throwing away useable food, medical supplies, designer clothes and furniture. Anna Sacks - who goes by the name 'thetrashwalker' on Instagram and TikTok - has been recording her 'trash walks,' where she roams Manhattan's streets and sifts through garbage bags, since 2018.    Some of the videos show mountains of garbage bags full of unopened food and sealed disposable products from places like Party City that can still be eaten or used.  Other videos - like the one she posted March from outside of a CVS - show how companies purposefully rip the packages of edible food, hygiene products like tampons, medical supplies and an assortment of personal care like hairbrushes and dump them out before throwing them away.  She has been contacted by other environmentalists with similar aims, and shared how one man even found a live parakeet discarded outside a Petco store in its cage.   Scroll down for video.  Anna Sacks - aka 'thetrashwalker' on Instagram and TikTok -...
TOKYO (AP) — Sunisa Lee’s gymnastics are stunning. They’re just not “perfect.” Not technically, anyway. Thousands of hours of practice. Dozens upon dozens of competitions. And not once has a judge watched the new Olympic all-around champion do her thing — not even on uneven bars, where the 45-second set she plans doing in Sunday’s event finals is a free-flowing series of connections and releases that make it seem as if she is floating — and thought “that’s flawless.” Lee is not alone. No elite gymnast — not even American star and six-time Olympic medalist Simone Biles — has received a perfect score since the sport moved off the “10” system to a new Code of Points in 2006. Scores are now a combination of the difficulty of the routine (which is open-ended) and the execution, which is based on a 10.0 scale. In theory, “perfect” execution is possible. It’s just that no one has ever done it. A reality that long ago led Lee to make peace with the idea that a faultless routine is unattainable, no matter how...
Katie Thurston on night one. Craig Sjodin/ABC When "The Bachelorette" premieres, you usually see the lead wearing a sparkly dress on night one. But did you know there's a perfectly good explanation as to why? Cary Fetman, the show's longtime stylist, told Insider it's easier to keep a sequined dress clean. Visit Insider's homepage for more stories. Here at Insider, we've kept track of what (almost) every Bachelorette star has worn on their first night of the show — and nearly every one of them sparkles, including the gown of this season's lead, Katie Thurston. Much has been said about the extremely long first night of the show, which regularly goes until sunrise the next morning. So, you might be wondering why it seems like the lead, year after year, is wearing a sparkly gown that doesn't look particularly comfortable. Turns out, there's a perfectly reasonable explanation. "On a first night, the only reason why I will normally push a little more sparkle or have the bottom be not a fabric, or even just a netting, is because they...
New York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres completely missed the first base bag on this throw. New York Yankees fans are hoping New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is more accurate throwing the ball this fall than Gleyber Torres was on this terrible error on a routine grounder. While it looked like Torres was composed when he made his throw towards first base, he ended resembling Christian Hackenberg on this fastball that went nowhere near its intended target. New York entered play on Memorial Day 4.5 games back of the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL East standings. Another loss to the Rays on Monday  would only make things worse for the Yankees. This ball certainly sailed away from Torres and into the seats behind first base at Yankee Stadium. pic.twitter.com/bERf538TXG — Justin Groc (@jgroc) May 31, 2021 New York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres has no idea where the ball is goingThe quickest way to not gain ground on a division leader is to make dumb plays like this in the field. After launching a successful line of leggings, Everlane is now making ultra-cozy loungewear. We tried the sweatshirts and sweatpants and can confidently say that Everlane got the fit just right. Each style is between $48 and $50, and the size range is XS-XXL. We just wish the size range was more inclusive. Over the past 11 months, I've practically been living in sweatsuits. I like the idea of matching sets because it makes me feel more polished and put-together, though, to be fair, at this point even putting on a watch and tinted lip balm makes me feel like I'm dressing for the Met Gala.  Of the five or six sweatsuits I own, Everlane's new loungewear set is the one I find myself reaching for most often. It's just the perfect combo of a great-fitting pair of joggers plus a perfectly oversized-but-not-sloppy sweatshirt. If you're deciding whether or not to buy...
IT WAS when the pubs closed that I got the fear. It wasn’t that I was desperate for a drink, honestly. It’s just that the rare sight of a pub closed for business of an evening has always unsettled me. ???? Whether pubs are a big part of your life or not, they are always there, busy or empty, for good or ill, just ticking along. And then suddenly they weren’t. All of them went dark, all at once. And it really did feel a bit apocalyptic because the situation was so dangerously bad. More and more people were dying; before long the Prime Minister himself would be fighting for his life. 16Almost instantly the shelves were left bare as many of us rushed to stockpileCredit: Mercury NOW, a year on, there...
From people's clothes blending into the background to animals who are tricky to spot against home interiors, these amusing optical illusions are bound to make you look twice. The series of mind-boggling snaps from all over the world were collated by Bored Panda, sourced from an 'accidental camouflage' thread on Reddit which has been attracting posts since January 2017. Even before pressing “play” on Netflix’s To All the Boys: Always and Forever, you know it will have a happy ending. There will be moments throughout the film when you’re supposed to question whether the teen lovers at the heart of this treacly romantic comedy will actually stay together forever. After all, they’re only in high school. When heroine Lara Jean gets rejected from Stanford, where boyfriend Peter Kavinsky is committed to play lacrosse, things start to get a little rocky. But such moments are fleeting and unconvincing. The movie’s title tells you everything you need to know about the fate of our young couple. Premiering on Feb. 12, just in time for Valentine’s Day, this third and final installment of the To All the Boys trilogy is a true-to-form romcom, meaning it’s uninterested in cynicism or even realism. Of course these two teenagers with their whole lives ahead of them, going to college 3,000 miles apart, are going to remain loyally committed to one another—forever, apparently. They’re meant to be, absence makes the heart grow fonder, so on and...
Dana Point, California, where marine mammals live in harmony with people, earns distinction as first Whale Heritage Site in US At first coronavirus briefing, White House acknowledges vaccinations will take months Ben Askren took Jake Paul talking about his wife perfectly in stride © Provided by Blue Corner In case you haven’t been on Twitter, Jake Paul has the ability to really get under people’s skin just by his mere existence – but especially when he talks trash. Ben Askren, though, is the kind of guy to take it all in stride. Case in point: During his interview with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani on Tuesday (which I hate to admit I watched the whole thing), Paul had an all-time cringey moment when he was asked why he follows only the official Triller account and Askren’s wife, Amy, on Instagram. “She thicc, bro,” Paul said. “She’s what?” responded Helwani. “She’s thicc, with lke two c’s – t-h-i-c-c,” Paul repeated. “Thicc like she’s real thicc. So, I don’t know, like, I just thought she’s bad. I don’t know. I mean, maybe after...
In the days after Melania Trump wore that infamous “I Really Don’t Care, Do U?” jacket while visiting undocumented children detained at the border, journalists everywhere wondered what it could mean. This despite, of course, the fact that there was no special message to uncover, nothing to investigate—Melania had the words printed right on her back. This was a trend repeated over and over during Melania’s tenure as FLOTUS. She would do something that was often generously described as “tone-deaf,” like wearing that jacket, or renovating the Rose Garden during a pandemic, or doing a photo shoot in the middle of a violent, attempted coup at the Capitol that left five people dead. Then pundits would wonder why Melania did something. They would search for deeper, psychological answers for her behavior, when the answer was right in front of us all along. She doesn’t care. Melania’s tenure as first lady ends on Jan. 20. But any hope that she would rise above her husband’s vicious policies ended that July 2018 afternoon at Andrews Air Force Base. There once...
