    WEST HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The mother accused of killing her three young children inside their West Hills home on Mother's Day believed they were possessed by demons, Eyewitness News has learned.Angela Flores, 38, was arrested after three children were found dead inside the home on Sunday. She had been expected to be arraigned Wednesday, but it was continued until Aug. 10. Flores remains in jail on $6 million bail.According to authorities, the children's mother admitted to killing them with the help of her 16-year-old son. She has been charged with three counts of murder.The teenager, who has not been publicly identified, was arrested on one count of murder and was being held without bail at Sylmar Juvenile Hall."We all grieve for these children.     WEST HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Officials have released the names of three young children who were found dead Sunday inside a West Hills home, leading to the arrest of their mother and a 16-year-old alleged accomplice.The Los Angeles County coroner's office on Tuesday identified the victims as 8-year-old Nathan Yanez, 10-year-old Kevin Yanez and 12-year-old Natalie Flores.According to authorities, the children's mother, 38-year-old Angela Flores, admitted to killing them with the help of a teenager. The juvenile suspect is believed to be Flores' son.On Sunday morning, officers responded to the home on the 22500 block of Victory Boulevard after receiving a call of an assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.Flores was arrested on three counts of murder and was being held on $6 million bail at Van Nuys Jail.     A man who fell about 100 feet while hiking in West Hills was in critical condition Friday night, according to authorities. A helicopter crew found the injured hiker, a 25-year-old man, around 8:22 p.m. in the area of 6800 Valley Circle Blvd., near Bell Canyon Park and Castle Peak, after authorities got a 911 call about the fall at 7:55 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Rescuers were working to extricate him so he could be transported to a hospital, firefighters said. “The patient will be transported in critical condition,” firefighters said, adding that he suffered significant traumatic injuries. Ventura County firefighters were also assisting in the rescue effort, authorities said. Further information was not available.

    WEST HILLS (CBSLA — One woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision in the West Hills area early Saturday morning. The incident unfolded at around 6:15 a.m. on Woolsey Canyon Road, when a 57-year-old woman, whose identity has yet to be revealed, drove her Porsche into oncoming traffic. The woman, who was intoxicated at the time of the crash, collided head-on with another vehicle which was driven by a 76-year-old woman, who died at a nearby hospital after succumbing to injuries sustained in the collision. On Thursday, March 3, at 6:30 a.m., Auburn Hills Police and Fire responded to a reported crash involving a 2021 Jeep Wrangler and a Caterpillar front end loader on Brown Road, west of Giddings.     LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A motorcycle rider was killed in a violent high-speed crash in West Hills Thursday afternoon, and two other people were injured, officials said.The motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Fallbrook Avenue shortly after 1 p.m.Los Angeles police were following the stolen motorcycle when it crashed, according to authorities. They say it was not a pursuit.Officials say that the motorcyclist was going at least 100 mph before the crash.The motorcycle rider has not yet been identified.     Police are negotiating with a man who barricaded himself inside a Hollywood Hills West home after allegedly pointing a shotgun at a person Friday morning, authorities said. Around 11:35 a.m., a 911 caller reported that a man had pointed a shotgun at them, said Officer Drake Madison, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman. Officers responded to a vacant home in the 1700 block of Sunset Plaza Drive where the man, identified only as a 41-year-old, had barricaded himself with a dog. It’s believed the man was squatting at the home, Madison said. SWAT officers were called and have been negotiating with the man to get him to surrender, he said.     WEST HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Startling surveillance video shows a violent crash at a West Hills intersection that caused a dog to be thrown from inside a truck involved in the incident.In the footage, the dog can be seen flying out of the passenger side window of that vehicle.Fortunately, the dog only suffered minor scrapes and was being cared for at a nearby business.The driver also suffered injuries and was rushed to the hospital in unknown condition.
