A Russian soldier sent to do Vladimir Putin’s bidding in Ukraine has been caught calling the Russian leader an “old nutjob” and trash-talking his war, while others say the Kremlin’s military leadership has sent in a ruthless general to bring disloyal troops in line. That’s according to Ukrainian intelligence, which released two audio recordings Thursday of what it said were intercepted calls capturing the rapidly deteriorating morale among Russian soldiers. In the first recording, shared by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate, a young man identified only as a Russian soldier can be heard venting with a female friend about Putin’s speech at the May 9 Victory Day parade. Calling Putin’s speech “gross,” his friend said that “after the parade” she had been “shaking all day.” “Well what do you want, he’s an old nutjob,” the man shot back, before mockingly saying, “Yes let’s get the USSR, fuck, Lithuania, Latvia, fucking Estonia, everything that’s not part of Russia let’s win back.” As the pair rattled off the list of territories they said Russia will probably try to seize, once...
Former President Donald Trump has finally hit back at one of his major enemies in American culture: Alec Baldwin, whom he suggests intentionally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his upcoming movie. Alec Baldwin speaks on the phone in the parking lot outside the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office in Santa Fe, N.M., after he was questioned about a shooting on the set of the film “Rust” on the outskirts of Santa Fe, Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021. (Jim Weber/Santa Fe New Mexican via AP) (Jim Weber/Santa Fe New Mexican via Associated Press) “In my opinion, he had something to do with it,” Trump said of Baldwin in a radio interview Thursday with conservative host Christ Stigall, Newsweek reported. “But if nothing else, how do you take a gun, whether it’s loaded or not loaded, how do you take a gun, point it at somebody that’s not even in the movie, and just point it at this person and pull the trigger, and now she’s dead?” Baldwin, who won an Emmy for spoofing the former president on “Saturday Night Live,”...
Former President Donald Trump outrageously suggested 'nutjob' Alec Baldwin intentionally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the Rust set, during a radio interview Thursday.  'In my opinion, he had something to do with it,' Trump said of Baldwin - who played Trump on Saturday Night Live - to conservative radio show host Chris Stigall. 'Who would take a gun and point it at a cinematographer and pull the trigger?' Trump asked. 'Maybe he loaded it,' the former president also floated.   The ex-president said he believed Baldwin could be responsible because he's a 'troubled guy,' 'there's something wrong with him' and he 'gets into fistfights with reporters.'   The October 21 shooting is still under investigation.  Baldwin was handed a 'cold gun,' indicating that it was safe to use, by director David Halls, who was wounded when the actor fatally shot Hutchins with a live round. Where the live rounds came from is part of the probe.    Trump has long had a beef with Baldwin.  Former President Donald Trump, photographed at Mar-a-Lago as his private club was having a Halloween party last weekend,...
Former President Donald Trump tore into Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley and President Joe Biden on Wednesday night after the commander-in-chief staunchly defended the embattled general from accusations he broke the chain of command with his calls to Chinese officials and should face consequences. He accused Biden of covering for Milley because of 'dirty secrets' the general may know about Biden's chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal.  'Milley never told me about calls being made to China. From what I understand, he didn’t tell too many other people either,' the statement began.  On Wednesday Milley admitted to making two calls to his Chinese counterpart, both before the election and in January, after claims he went behind Trump's back for fear of rogue action the then-president may take. Trump called him 'a complete nutjob.'  'He put our Country in a very dangerous position but President Xi knows better, and would’ve called me,' Trump continued. 'The way Milley and the Biden Administration handled the Afghanistan withdrawal, perhaps the most embarrassing moment in our Country’s history, would not exactly instill fear in China.'  'The...
DONALD Trump slammed General Mark Milley on Wednesday as a "complete nutjob" who endangered America after President Joe Biden defended his secret calls to China. The former president issued a September 15 statement criticizing Gen. Mark Milley and insisting the Joint Chiefs Chairman "never" told him or "too many other people" about the alleged calls he made to China. 5Donald Trump issued a September 15 statement criticizing Gen. "The way Milley and the Biden administration handled the Afghanistan withdrawal, perhaps the most embarrassing moment in our Country's history, would not exactly instill fear in China. Killer clowns NO tinfoil-hatted internet nutjob has done as much to fuel lethal anti-vax conspiracy theories as the EU’s deranged leaders. The chaos and needless fear these clowns have unleashed, in sheer panic at being upstaged by Brexit Britain over jabs, will end up killing thousands. ???? Besides, the suicidal scaremongering of France and Germany has now been blown apart by their own European Medicines Agency. On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) stated that if Republicans “want to make sure this nutjob, Tanden, doesn’t become the director of the budget, in charge of the Office of Management and Budget, then make sure we win in Georgia.” Graham said, “If we win both seats in Georgia, I’ll be the Budget Chairman, anybody — the OMB director has to come before the Budget Committee for hearings to be confirmed. I think I would ask different questions than Bernie Sanders, who’d be the Budget Chairman if Democrats win in Georgia. So, if you want to stop this nonsense, if you want to make sure this nutjob, Tanden, doesn’t become the director of the budget, in charge of the Office of Management and Budget, then make sure we win in Georgia.” Follow Ian Hanchett on Twitter @IanHanchett
Are you kidding me? Sedition? From 1798? Just in case someone is not persuaded that this Trump Administration is falling off its rocker, the advice from Atty. Gen. William P. Barr to federal prosecutors to use a two-century-old law to stop people – no, specifically “violent” leftist protests outside federal courthouses – from seeking to overthrow the government should make us stop and scratch our collective heads. For openers, protesting disproportionate police brutality against Black citizens is not calling for the overthrow of the government. Secondly, there is actual evidence that groups other than Black Lives Matter or the oft-cited, if unorganized “antifa” are not the only ones in street. You heard nothing from Barr about using sedition laws against actual, organized, gun-toting, right-wing, white supremacist nationals who seem actually to want to overthrow the government – as well as to mix it up with lefties in the streets. Thirdly, sedition laws have not been used over two centuries for good reason: Their Constitutionality runs very close to the edge of First Amendment rights to free speech and assembly that have protected...
Never Trump attorney George Conway on Friday once again lashed out at President Donald Trump, declaring him the “greatest threat to the safety and security of Americans.” “On this 9/11, the greatest threat to the safety and security of Americans is the President of the United States,” Conway wrote on Twitter. On this 9/11, the greatest threat to the safety and security of Americans is the President of the United States. — George Conway (@gtconway3d) September 11, 2020 Conway’s remark came shortly before President Trump participated in the annual memorial ceremony in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, honoring Americans who perished in the terror attack of September 11th, 2001. “Nineteen years ago, on this day, at this hour, on this field, 40 brave men and women triumphed over terror and gave their lives in defense of our nation,” the president stated in his remarks in Shanksville. “Today, we pay tribute to their sacrifice – and we mourn deeply for the nearly 3,000 precious and beautiful souls who were taken from us on September 11, 2001.” In late August, Conway announced he would be leaving his role...
"Life, Liberty & Levin" host Mark Levin fired back Thursday at NFL Seattle Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll for extensive comments he made following the police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake in Wisconsin. Carroll called on coaches to listen to Black people on racism they’ve experienced in the U.S. He talked about the issues his players have faced upon returning to camp and said that “White people don’t know enough” about racism in the U.S. “[White people] need to be coached up and they need to be educated about what the heck is going on in the world,” Carroll said, according to the team’s website. “Black people can't scream anymore, they can't march anymore, they can't bear their souls anymore to what they've lived with for hundreds of years because White guys came over from Europe and started a new country with a great idea and great ideals and wrote down great writings and laws and all of that about democracy and freedom and equality for all. And then that's not what happened..." On "The Mark Levin Show" on Westwood One, Levin...
Six short months ago, President Donald Trump’s reelection strategy was settled: use the strong economy to make the case for maintaining the status quo, or, as the campaign put it: Keep America Great. Since then, the economic freefall caused by the coronavirus pandemic—coupled with the most widespread protest in a half-century—has rendered that slogan almost farcical. Over the weekend, the Washington Post reported that Trump’s team is working on a new catchphrase to repeat ad nauseam. George Conway, frequent Trump critic and husband of presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway, suggested, “He might be a nutjob, but he’s OUR nutjob.” George Conway/Twitter As usual, Twitter brought the fire—and the photoshop skills—to the #TrumpSlogans party. “Come for the racism, stay for the treason,” offered one. “Promise everything. Deliver nothing. Blame someone else. Trump 2020,” was another suggestion. Twitter user @Spiroagnewsghost thought “Trump 2020: No Responsibility, No Reasoning” might work. Elizabeth C.
