"He should announce, much sooner than later, that he will not run for a second term."

A Nebraska Burger King has gone viral on social media, after the staff put up a sign reading: 'We all quit. Sorry for the inconvenience.'   Employees at the Lincoln franchise claimed it had been understaffed for months, while they have had to work in a kitchen with no air conditioning, even as temperatures reached above 90-degrees.    Now ex-general manager Rachael Flores said employees decided to pull the stunt after she put in her two-weeks notice earlier this month, and eight other employees followed suit, she told KLKN. 'They wanted to put up a sign to say, you know "Sorry, there's really not going to be anyone here,'" Flores recounted. 'Just kind of a laugh at upper management.' They joked on July 9 that they should put up a sign outside the store in the Havelock neighborhood telling customers the store wasn't open because they all quit.  The next morning, the employees followed through with their plans, she said. 'I didn't think anyone was going to notice it, because we just did one sign,' she said, and then it went crazy...

Bellator will make an announcement on Tuesday for the upcoming year. Bellator is finally back, hopefully. A huge announcement is expected on Tuesday, where Bellator will reportedly announce their return date for the 2021 calendar year, a reason for the hiatus, and probably more things to come. The current rumor has a return in April and part of the reason for the delay may be due to the channel they’ll be airing on, as a return to Showtime may happen. There’s also talk of CBS getting several big Bellator cards as well. Don’t doubt them landing on Paramount+ either, as Peacock and Disney+ (through their bundle) are finding success by bringing live-sports to their services. Not only could a better home for viewing Bellator be announced, but there could be new fighters, new tournaments, new everything! Let’s take a look at what could be announced. MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Urging that climate change must be addressed now, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan on Thursday announced a set of policy proposals that they say will lead the state to 100% clean energy in the state’s electricity sector by 2040. Walz and Flanagan say that the policies build on the success that the state has already achieved in increasing the use of clean energy resources and decreasing dependence on fossil fuels, which includes the passage of Minnesota’s Next Generation Act in 2007. A big part of the plan would require electric utilities in Minnesota to use carbon-free energy resources by 2040. “The time to fight climate change is now,” Walz said. “Not only is clean energy the right and responsible choice for future generations, clean energy maximizes job creation and grows our economy, which is especially important as we work to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.” Flanagan said that “we must take immediate action” to protect the world for future generations. “Burning fossil fuels pollutes our environment, permanently changes our...

SAN ANTONIO – It is news that has rocked the movie theater industry. Regal Cinema, the second largest cinema chain in the nation announced Monday it is temporarily closing all of its U.S. theaters and some in the UK. Of the 536 theaters in the U.S., six are located in San Antonio. The company reported losing billions of dollars in the first half of 2020. Due to the pandemic, theaters were shut down and some big money movies are holding out on their releases. Santikos Entertainment CEO Tim Handren told KSAT his theaters have suffered some blows, but nothing to that extent. “The Palladium theater outperforms all five of the Regals combined, so I can see why they might be struggling,” he said. Handren said out of the nine local Santikos theaters, seven are open to customers.
