    South Dakota Republican Sen. John Thune said Monday it was 'typical' for the Biden administration to be 'caught off guard' by the baby formula shortage.  'They didn't catch it on day one. And as typical in this administration, they want to blame somebody else, so they want to blame Abbott,' Thune said on Fox and Friends Monday morning.  Thune placed blame on the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which forced Abbott's Sturgis, Mich. plant to shut down in February after two babies that drank its formula died from bacterial infections.  Abbott then issued recalls on three of its products in February.   'The FDA should've known about this, they should have reacted a lot sooner,' said Thune. 'They should've surged imports ... this was like a tsunami coming.' On average 40 percent on of the nation's baby formula is currently out of stock.     Starting on Monday morning, you can make your bid for a piece of local history as the Clydes restaurant in Reston, Virginia, is closing its doors after more than 30 years. “One of the most striking pieces in the restaurant is a life-size horse,” said Jeff Owens, the CFO and head of corporate development for the Clydes Restaurant Group. He said it’s got an interesting local history. “It was actually used by a tack shop in Georgetown,” Owens said.     Justice Clarence Thomas on Friday compared the leak of fellow Justice's Samuel Alito's draft opinion regarding Roe v Wade to 'infidelity.'
