    A six-month-old baby boy was found close to death in a hotel room with his dead mother's corpse, up to five days after she died in a suspected heroin overdose. Police in Springfield, Oregon, were called by a social services worker at Quality Inn hotel at around 7pm on Monday to help with a welfare check, only to find the baby strapped in to his stroller and 'virtually unresponsive'.
