Nevertheless, a bus from the Del Rio sector in Texas reportedly pulled up just blocks away from the U.S. Capitol building around 8 a.m. local time on Wednesday, to drop off dozens of immigrants said to be from Colombia, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. "In the last 24 hours, TDEM has dispatched buses to areas where communities have expressed concerns about the federal government dropping off migrants and has the capability to send as many as is necessary to fulfill the requests from mayors and county judges," Seth Christensen, chief of media and communications for TDEM, told Fox News. “From the [Rio Grande Valley] to Terrell County, a large majority of the communities that originally reached out for support through this operation have now said that the federal government has stopped dropping migrants in their towns since the governor’s announcement on Wednesday,” Christensen added. A tweet from Gov. Abbott's account on Wednesday boasted, "First Texas bus drops off illegal immigrants blocks from US Capitol in Washington, DC. Biden refuses to come see the mess he’s made at the border. So...
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott sent a bus of illegal migrants to the DC newsrooms of Fox News, NBC News, and CSPAN. The bus arrived on Wednesday in front of the building that houses those newsrooms, according to Fox News’ John Roberts. Last week, Abbott said: To help local officials whose communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal immigrants who have been dropped off by the Biden administration to Washington, D.C. We are sending them to the United States Capitol where the Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they...
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott unveiled a brainless—and unbelievably cruel—scheme on Wednesday: to bus asylum seekers from Texas to Washington, D.C., where they will be dumped on the Capitol steps. The announcement came in response to the Biden administration ending Title 42, a pandemic-era emergency order implemented by Donald Trump that allowed migrants to be sent back to Mexico at the border, even if they were seeking asylum. The order was intended to stem the flow of COVID into the U.S., but many migrant advocates and political observers believed it was just a pretext for Trump’s hardline immigration policies. While it is not illegal to seek asylum in the U.S., the number of migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border has swelled since President Joe Biden took office. Abbott fumed on Wednesday that the federal government was releasing large numbers of migrants into Texas. “To help local officials whose communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal immigrants who have been dropped...
Two soldiers were sentenced to federal prison for their roles in transporting illegal immigrants across Texas, a charge to which they pleaded guilty late last year. On Friday, U.S. District Judge Marina Garcia Marmolejo sentenced Isaiah Gore to 30 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to recruiting other soldiers to smuggle illegal immigrants across Border Patrol checkpoints. His counterpart, Denerio Williams, received a 24-month sentence after pleading guilty to driving the transport vehicles to specific locations in Texas in exchange for money. The two soldiers must also serve three years of supervised release after the end of their sentences. The judge said the sentences were harsher than usual because the active-duty soldiers are “not the average citizen” and used their Army status to evade detection. BIDEN GRANTS ASYLUM OFFICERS THE ABILITY TO DECIDE MIGRANT CLAIMS Authorities caught Emmanuel Oppongagyare and Ralph Gregory Saint-Joie, two other active-duty soldiers awaiting sentences in this case, at a Border Patrol checkpoint on June 13, 2021, smuggling illegal immigrants in the back of their car. "Texas DPS Director Steve McCraw speaks as Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and 10 other governors hold a press conference at Anzalduas Park on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021, in Mission, Texas." Republican governors whose states continue to be hard hit by COVID-19 infections have been diligently working … at demonizing asylum-seekers at the southern border. Nine right-wing governors joined Gov. Greg Abbott for a photo op in south Texas on Wednesday. There, they were armed “with an array of military vehicles in the background,” USA Today reported. And they used the stunt to push the usual xenophobic bullshit demonizing children and families who’ve sought safety at our border. “The crisis on the southern border, in many ways, is a war,” later claimed Kristi Noem, Republican governor of noted southern border state South Dakota. She added that’s why she “sent our National Guard to help secure it.” But that move, much like her appearance at the border this week, was also a stunt. Meanwhile, Idaho’s Gov. Brad Little complained in a press release that President Joe Biden had refused to meet with him and other Republicans....
President Biden's perceived nonchalance as he was photographed going for a leisurely bike ride in the Delaware shore town of Rehoboth Beach while illegal immigrants and asylum seekers flood across the Rio Grande into Del Rio, Texas, might have been notably different if the crisis were occurring closer to home, "The Five" discussed on Monday. With the crisis' epicenter thousands of miles away from the First State, host Jesse Watters claimed the president would be acting more urgently if it were his home city of Wilmington being flooded with unvetted and unvaccinated foreign nationals. "Joe Biden was supposed to get a hold on this stuff and it's exploded under his watch. Imagine we did this to Delaware. Right?" he said, remarking that Biden would act more decisively if thousands of migrants flocked to popular beach towns like Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach, Lewes or Fenwick Island. Video"Imagine we shipped thousands and thousands of migrants into Delaware and they’re fishing on the bay or they’re riding Amtrak, packed in unvaxxed, with little English and no skills," he said, alluding to Biden's...
Ohio's three biggest cities are all experiencing problems with homicides, but resources were used to deploy law enforcement to Texas. Ohio GOP Gov. Mike DeWine spent nearly $230,000 in public funds to send officers from his state's highway patrol to the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas, even as Ohio has been experiencing a serious crime problem. As part of a Republican campaign to attack the immigration policies of President Joe Biden, Greg Abbott, Texas' Republican governor, put out a dubious call for assistance with border surveillance. In July, DeWine announced that he was responding to the request. On Wednesday, a spokesperson for the Ohio Department of Public Safety disclosed to the Ohio Capital-Journal that nearly $230,000 in taxpayer funds was spent to send 14 Ohio State Highway Patrol officers to the border. "There was not a final cost analysis compiled at the completion of the detail, however the estimated total cost for the mission prior to departure was $229,571.00," Lt. Nathan E. Dennis told the outlet. The money was spent at...

Border Patrol agents in Texas rescued dozens of illegal immigrants hiding in railcars in two separate human smuggling attempts this week, finding some migrants covered in a "white powdery substance," officials said. Agents in the Laredo Sector were conducting train inspections on Tuesday near Bruni discovered 19 individuals inside a car hauler trailer, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said in a news release. MCALLEN, Texas — Some migrants who spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation late Saturday night said they plan on working when they settle in the interior of the U.S. Others said they want to study first so they can better support their families. A migrant man from Honduras told the DCNF that he worked dishwashing and other restaurant jobs in Guatemala before crossing through Mexico and eventually illegally entering the U.S. near La Joya, Texas. He and another Honduran man said they plan to study so they can better support themselves and their families once they’re settled in the U.S. “You need to suffer for it. You need to sweat for it,” an Ecuadorian man told the DCNF shortly after illegally entering the U.S. near Hidalgo Point of Entry in southern Texas late Saturday night. “You need to start from zero to show that the situation costs.”  A group of at least 100 migrants waited outside a COVID-19 testing center after being released from federal custody in downtown McAllen, Texas, on August 6, 2021. Border agents in Texas arrested two MS-13 gang members and a convicted child sex offender trying to sneak into the US amidst a 221 percent spike in arrests of criminal migrants.  The two MS-13 gang members are Honduran and Guatemalan nationals, and the sex offender is a Salvadoran national. All three were arrested in the city of McAllen at the southern tip of Texas in 24-hour period between Wednesday and Thursday.  The CBP didn't release the names of the MS-13 gangsters, but the sex offender was identified as Cristian Flamenco, who was convicted in Los Angeles for sexually assaulting a child under the age of 14 and sentenced to 12 years in prison.   Law enforcement also discovered the Guatemalan national had a prior conviction in Miami for making false statements in a passport application and he was sentenced to eight months in prison.   The arrests are a few of the latest cases in a 221 percent increase in arrests of illegal migrants with criminal records over the last year.  So far in fiscal year 2021, there have been 7,830 arrests of illegal migrants...
Shocking new photos reveal the overcrowded and filthy conditions illegal migrants are living in after being intercepted while crossing the US southern border.  The images see migrants packed tightly into cells, or holding 'pods'. According to Fox News there are approximately 5,300 migrants currently in custody with between 40-60 people in each pod, breaking a COVID cap of 10 per pod.  The facility in Donna, Texas is working flat out to process the arrivals but officials are quickly being outpaced by the relentless influx. In McAllen, Texas, a series of tents have been set up to house 250 migrants who have become infected with the coronavirus after federal officials admitted they could not cope.  Within days, there is believed to be close to 650 staying at the makeshift facility in nearby Mission.   Thousands of migrants took refuge underneath the bridge near the Anzalduas Park holding site as temperatures reached about 100 degrees in Mission, Texas  Images that were first obtained by Fox News show condition in the migrant center in Donna, Texas The facility has been one of the main...

"Us Americans, in this part of Texas, we don't have the same rights as other people do," Smith said. "We can't enjoy our property and go in our backyards anymore at night. It's a tragedy." He harshly criticized President Joe Biden for neglecting to enforce immigration law by permitting migrants who cross the border illegally to be released from detention and enter the U.S. Since assuming office, Biden has prioritized dismantling the immigration and border security policies of his predecessor President Donald Trump. Biden reinstated "catch and release" policies that ended under Trump, and he also cancelled construction of a wall on the southern border and overturned the Trump administration's remain-in-Mexico policy requiring migrants to wait for their asylum cases to be processed before entering the U.S. Because of Biden's policies, immigration enforcement agencies have reported record numbers of illegal immigrants attempting to cross the southern border. This fiscal year there have been more than 1.1 million migrants encountered by Border Patrol agents. These migrants are trespassing on land owned by American ranchers to avoid detection by...
