A British Lamborghini owner was filmed screaming 'black b*****ds' after he and his girlfriend were robbed of two watches including a $19,000 Rolex by a gang who fled in a Rolls Royce.  The unidentified man, who is believed to be drunk, repeatedly screamed the insult as cops and his girlfriend tried to calm him down following the robbery in West Hollywood Monday morning. His Rolex and her Michael Kors watch were both snatched by the six man gang, who subsequently fled the scene in a car that was even fancier than their $300,000 Lamborghini Auris.  Video obtained by DailyMail.com shows a shirtless man with brown hair and a trimmed beard being pulled into the back of a Los Angeles Police Department vehicle as his girlfriend, in a beige dress and sandals, spoke to police. Throughout the video, the man could be heard screaming - apparently using the 'n word' at one point and referring to thieves who got away with his and his girlfriend's expensive watches as 'black b*****ds.' He was shirtless with a tattoo on his side reading 'UK...

TORETSK, Ukraine (AP) — War has again drawn near to Toretsk in eastern Ukraine. Even the sudden crackling of a plastic water bottle puts residents on edge. “Anything that is happening, any noise, if our neighbors bang the door, a metal door, you are shocked,” said resident Andriy Cheromushkin. “You feel so helpless.” Half of the more than 32,000 residents have fled. Many who remain lack money and basic resources. Depression is growing, along with anger. “I collect rainwater. Yes, and I do the dishes with this rainwater. I cook the food for my dog with this water. I clean the floors with this water. I do the washing with this water. Clean the house with it. Is it normal? It is the 21st century. The nuclear power century!” said resident Irina Anatolievna. She waited in a long line with other exhausted residents on Monday for a water distribution now that running water has disappeared. As people walked away with bottles, they passed monuments to World War I and World War II. Before Russia’s invasion, conflict last gripped Toretsk in...
A New York couple was sentenced to prison on Tuesday for tricking a man into stealing $4 million from his boss in order to save a woman he believed was in trouble with the mob.  Candy Evans, 52, and her husband, Archie Kaslov, 55, were sentenced to 12 months and 30 months in prison, respectively, for masterminding a plot that prosecutors said included their whole family to finance their expensive spending habits that included a $300,000 Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead, Rolex watches and thousands in jewelry, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.  The DOJ claimed the couple had their sons, Tony John Evans, 33, Corry Blue Evans, 29, and Robert Evans, 34, pretend to be mobsters who were threatening a New York woman that the victim, from Maryland, had met online. When Evans caught on to the investigation against her family in 2017, prosecutors claim she went into damage control, instructing family members to lie to the FBI, directing Robert's ex-wife to marry the New York woman so neither of them could testify, and having the women write confessions...

Ah, what could be more civilised than the inner chamber of the United Nations Security Council in New York? Here, nation speaks unto nation in a safe space where global knots are untied and tensions smoothed away in the name of international peace and security. Well, that’s the idea, at any rate. The chairs are arranged in a democratic semi-circle, for here there is neither hierarchy nor leader, only a sense of determination and purpose to make the world a better, safer place. Today’s business? The war in Ukraine. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres began the meeting by calling it ‘one of the greatest challenges ever to the international order’. Reading from a prepared speech, he added: ‘It must stop now’. All agreed except the Russian representative Vasily Nebenzya who is going to veto any measure that might help Ukraine anyway, so what is the point? The only reason you work is to buy more watches and that's exactly where I'm at right now."The self-made billionaire businessman and TV star is like most in the watch community: shocked by how they have caught on, especially among young tech entrepreneurs."First of...

Washington paid tribute to the late Rep. Don Young, the longest-serving Republican in the history of the House of Representatives, on Tuesday as President Joe Biden joined lawmakers on Capitol Hill where his body was lying in state. Young died at the age of 88 this month after losing consciousness as he flew to Alaska with his wife, Anne.  Biden made the short drive to the U.S. Capitol to pay his respects to the only US Representative that Alaskans have had for almost half a century. He made the sign of the cross before laying his hands on the casket in National Statuary Hall. 'Don's legacy lives on in the infrastructure projects he delighted in steering across Alaska,' he said in a statement. 'In the opportunities he advanced for his constituents.  'In the enhanced protections for Native tribes he championed. His legacy will continue in the America he loved.' Young's casket arrived on the Hill just before 11 a.m.

Unvaccinated Nets guard Kyrie Irving made a pair of appearances at Brooklyn's Barclays Center over the weekend, not because New York City lifted its injection mandate for private sector employees, but rather because the NBA star wasn't working.  While New York Mayor Eric Adams has eased the city's mandates, allowing fans to attend games without presenting proof of vaccination, the mandate for local workers remains in place. And as such, the 29-year-old former top-overall draft pick will continue to be sidelined for home games.  The unmasked Irving was at Barclays Center on Saturday to watch his alma mater, Duke, lose the ACC Tournament title game to Virginia Tech before returning on Sunday to see his Nets beat the crosstown rival Knicks thanks to 53 points from Brooklyn star Kevin Durant. Afterwards, Durant directed a message to Adams, an avowed Nets fan, by accusing the Mayor of using the mandate to gain notoriety.
