    A wildfire that started Wednesday in the hills near Fresno prompted an evacuation warning for an area including the community of Humphreys Station. The House Fire is burning in the southern Sierra Nevada foothills about 15 miles east of Millerton Lake, said the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the Fresno County Fire Department. By 5 p.m. Wednesday, about four hours after it was reported, it had burned 120 acres and was threatening structures. The map above indicates the area under evacuation warning, shown in yellow.     A California man was arrested and charged with murder after he allegedly shot and killed his grandmother and father's girlfriend while they were exchanging presents on Christmas Day. Austin Alvarez, 23, had arrived at the family home in the 17000 block of Goodfellow Avenue in Reedley, a town about 20 miles southeast of Fresno, where the holiday gathering took place. Alvarez is then said to have opened fire and shot both his grandmother Magdalena Alvarez, 58, and his father's girlfriend Meisha Rashid, 39, before leaving the home in his GMC pickup truck.  He was later found and arrested by police and is facing murder as well as attempted murder charges. The investigation remains ongoing by police and the motive for the horrific double-murder is currently unclear.     Military helicopter pilots rescued dozens of Northern California hikers trapped amid the inferno-like flames of Fresno's devastating Creek Fire. In three flights on Tuesday, the U.S. Navy and California Army National Guard – initially hindered by the heavy smoke from the Sierra National Forest fire – brought 35 people to safety.
