A WOMAN has shared how KFC's chicken and flowers bouquet was a fun and cheap do-it-yourself gift for the fried chicken lover in her life.

The fried chicken chain offered the unique bouquet this year for Mother's Day.

KFC announced the release of their "Buckquet" arrangement a few weeks before Mother's Day.

It was a collaboration with Proflowers, a flower company based in San Diego, California.

The DIY gift was supposed to be sold from May 1 to May 3 but apparently sold out within 24 hours.

Customers had to order a KFC Sides Lovers meal to receive a promotional code for the free "Buckquet."

The "Buckquet" consisted of a dozen roses, eight skewers, a vase with the KFC logo, and a Mother's Day card.

Stephanie Nieves bought the DIY bouquet for her mom and described how the chicken needed for the arrangement had to be purchased separately.

After that, her sister arranged the flowers and chicken for their mom, who apparently loved it.

"I ordered it for my little sister, Sajdah, to give to my mom because I'm in Texas and they're both in New York," Business Insider quoted Nieves as saying.

She said the meal cost $27.49 plus tax and shared photos of her mom enjoying the chicken.

"Her shriek was proof that this gift had been a great one," Nieves said.

She's not the only fast food lover who has turned to a chain restaurant for a memorable moment.

In February, a Florida couple made headlines after getting married at Checkers.

Victoria and Arley Smude held their wedding ceremony in front of friends, family, and a 43-foot trailer full of chicken tenders and seasoned fries.

The bride told local news outlets that Checkers holds a special place in the couple's hearts as it's one of the places the newlyweds first interacted – though it wasn't love at first bite.

Arley, who thought Victoria had a boyfriend already, spent their first meeting “avoiding her, not talking at all."

Once the pair realized their reciprocal attraction, they began a relationship, making the seasoned fries and crispy chicken from Checkers a vital part of their bond.

And KFC wasn't the only fast-food restaurant offering special deals to celebrate mom this year.

Insomnia Cookies, a chain of bakeries in the US, were offering a purple limited edition box that included a variety of a dozen cookies.

Tim Hortons, a Canadian quick-service restaurant, was offering a DIY donut kit. The kit included six donuts, frosting flavors, and toppings.

At Wienerschnitzel, moms ate free with the purchase of a chili dog, small fries, and a small soda, according to the outlet.

Cartoon: Alito’s DIY Precedent Kit

x Vimeo Video

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito used a very unique way to uphold legal precedent — he dug back in history until he found a couple “legal” opinions he liked that supported his goal of overturning Roe v. Wade.

We’re not talking early United States history, in the leaked draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade, he went back to 1250 or so to find a treatise that suited his needs. It’s an interesting (sloppy) way to undermine a Supreme Court precedent that goes back 50 years — just dig up a couple of old English judge/cleric types who espoused torture and burned witches.

No matter what your views on abortion may be, the draft ruling that would overturn Roe is a danger to many rights we currently have in this country. (Even though Alito pinky-promises he’s only applying a key part of his legal “logic” to Roe.)

This is only the beginning of the rise of a Trump-branded Supreme Court.
