Two people suffered from smoke inhalation in Cape May, according to developing and unconfirmed reports.
It was unclear if the injuries resulted from a fire.
The incident occurred at 217 E. 24th Ave. in North Wildwood, initial reports said.
EMS crews were requested, according to an unconfirmed report.
North Wildwood police were not immediately available for comment.

Bullet holes believed to have come from an upstairs apartment were found in the ceiling of a unit where two men were found dead by police performing a welfare check Saturday, May 14 in Fairfax, authorities said.
Malik Xavier Davis, 23, of Woodbridge, and Christian Jamar Roberts, 23, of Dumfries, both suffered gunshot wounds and were unresponsive when police responded to the Woodbridge Station Apartments just after 4 p.m., county police said.
