HAVING a newborn can create a lot of worry.

One pediatrician, who goes by @Dr_Rossome online, revealed common questions he gets from new parents— and a lot of their concerns are actually signs of a normal baby.
In the TikTok, he began: “Weird things normal newborns do.”
Number one was “go cross-eyed.” It’s actually very common for a baby’s eyes to wander during their first months of life. After some time, they straighten out.
Number two: “Hiccup a lot.” Although the cause is not totally known— it may be the result of a baby gulping air or overeating a little— it’s totally normal.
The third strange thing a baby may do is quiver their jaw. This is due to the little one’s muscle fatigue after drinking milk, and it’s expected to happen.
Number four: “Startle reflex.” Most babies usually appear startled after unexpected movement or a loud noise. Most read in LifestyleTHE MOPE SHOW Harry 'miserable' as new life in US 'far from what he hoped for' says expertSWEEP SWEEP I’m a cleaning pro - how to keep your house dust-free using products you ownCOOK ON You’ve been cleaning your grill all wrong… here’s how an onion holds the secretSNAPCHAP I broke my man's penis in Viagra sex marathon - ditching booze saved my sex life
And lastly: All that sneezing and congestion should not be the cause of a parent’s stress, as this is completely normal.
The sneezing is a protective movement that helps babies get rid of irritating particles in their nasal passages—it’s actually a sign that their reflexes and senses are functioning properly.
Viewers flooded the comments section with expressions of relief:
“My kid sneezed ALL THE TIME. Genuinely worried she was allergic to our dog,” one mom wrote.
“Oh thank goodness! The jaw thing freaked me out,” said a second.
Others added their own observations about babies:
“I never knew newborns farted like grown men until I had one,” a viewer quipped.
“They shed!” added another.3Many parents will find solace in the fact that their babies ways are just a fact of lifeCredit: TikTok

The mum - who lived with her five boys aged 21, 17, 12, eight and two - initially felt fine, but fainted again and was rushed to hospital.
There, she was put into intensive care before tragically suffering a fatal heart attack on Friday night.
A GoFundMe page has been launched for her five kids Josh, Nicky, Leo, Frankie and Jax - with loved ones already raising £2,000.
Becki's friend Angela describes the mum as "a wonderful person inside and out" who "worshipped" her kids.
She had been battling with a condition that made her blood pressure and blood sugar low.
Becki's family told Manchester Evening News: "Becki was the most loving mother anyone could know, she always made sure her boys never went without. Most read in The US SunLEGEND DEAD Meat Loaf 'dies of covid' age 74 with wife by his side as tributes pour inCASH CLAIM Automatic $1,400 payments can be claimed TODAY after $660 monthly boost deadlineMOVING ON Inside 1,000-LB Sisters' Amy's new $37K Kentucky home as Tammy is 'jealous''great regret' Elton John forced to cancel tour dates after testing positive for Covid
"Becki may have only been small but you didn't want to cross her about her boys, they were her world as she was theirs.
"She had a beautiful kind heart and always had time for anyone who gave her the same affection back.
"Becki was a fighter and fought right upto the end, she never gave up, even being in and out of hospital last year she made sure her boys had an amazing Christmas with their mum not knowing it was the last one.
"Becki is loved by everyone and will be never forgotten."
Angela wrote in a message on the page: "I am fundraising memory of Becki, a wonderful person inside and out sadly passed away this morning leaving behind five precious children Josh, Nikki, Leo, Frankie, and baby Jax behind.
"She worships her children and always put them first.
"Let’s give Becki the send off she truly deserves gone but never forgotten."
