Police said they caught a Woodbridge man red-handed earlier this week when they found him skulking inside a business in the middle of the night.

Hernandez Fuentes, 21, tripped the alarm when he broke into Nationwide Security in Woodbridge a little after 3 a.m. on Sunday night, May 22, Prince William County police said in an incident report. When officers arrived they found Fuentes inside the building. Police called out to him and Fuentes turned himself in to police without incident.

Investigators discovered that Fuentes was able to get inside the building at 4320 Prince William Parkway through an unlocked window, the report notes. Nothing was stolen.

Officials charged him with burglary. He was being held at Prince William County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond, police said.
